FluroSat is an award-winning crop-health monitoring start-up. Our vision is to apply modern technologies like satellite and drone imaging combined with proximal (on-the-ground) sensing to help the world sustainably feed and clothe itself.

We are looking for a Customer Success/Business Development Manager with agronomic experience to join our team in Sydney. The candidate will work with the company leadership, product development and marketing teams on fostering the business growth through customer satisfaction. Flexible work environment available.

What you’ll do:

  • work closely with product/customer success team to foster and manage customer and partner relationships
  • proactively reach out to users (agronomists and farmers) to ensure they are getting the value from the product
  • act as point of contact for customers and partners for questions, feedback and issue resolution
  • advocate for customer/partner in ongoing revisions to product/service offering
  • follow and maintaing scalable customer onboarding and customer success systems
  • make sure that the product support documentation is organised, available and clear to the users
  • assist with development of customer case studies

Success in your role will be measured by the following metrics:

  • customer satisfaction
  • customer retention/expansion revenue
  • customer lifetime value

Successful applicants:

  • you have demonstrable success in customer facing roles in agricultural sector AND/OR business development or account management roles in a startup company selling emerging technology / services
  • you are passionate about delivering value to customers and building strong relationships
  • you have previous experience in digital agriculture/agtech industry/agronomy
  • you have previous experience working in/with a fast growth company/startup
  • you're extremely results-oriented and can organise yourself and others in an unstructured environment
  • you thrive in a GSD and open/honest work environment
  • you love learning
