FluroSat is an award-winning crop-health monitoring start-up. Our vision is to apply modern technologies like satellite and drone imaging combined with proximal (on-the-ground) sensing to help the world sustainably feed and clothe itself.

We are looking for a Sales Manager with experience in promoting new digital products in agricultural industry/agtech to join our team in Sydney. The candidate will work with the company leadership, product development, customer success and marketing teams on fostering the business growth through building partnerships and strategic customer relationships. The Role:
The Sales Manager is responsible for identifying commercial revenue opportunities and managing projects (PoC's) to support FluroSat's sales roadmap. This job has elements of strategy, sales, project management and execution.

Responsibilities include:
• Analyse, structure, and execute end-to-end, enterprise sales
• Identifying and evaluating potential business opportunities within the Agronomy/Ag retail ecosystem to build FluroSat's market share in the Precision Agriculture/Data Analytics vertical
• Supporting contract negotiation with B2B and B2E customers
• Build and nurture close working relationships with customers to better understand their needs
• Project Management of pilots and new opportunities
• Working with FluroSat cross-functional teams to gather information on the technical feasibility of new projects, establish consensus on stakeholders, and successfully negotiate and close new accounts
• Developing and presenting executive updates benchmarking progress against target metrics to Company Leadership to assist in decision making (i.e. revenue and lead conversions)
• Explore new markets and drive growth across Australia and New Zealand
• Refining a strategic approach to expanding FluroSat's solutions into key market segments

The Must Haves:
• At least 3-5 years of relevant Business Development experience in agtech/ag sales
• Familiarity with agricultural technology, data and players primarily in Aus agronomy services and ag retail
• Experience in the Agtech Ecosystem and Agricultural industry including working relationships with key stakeholders
• Excellent project, time, and budget management skills, and being able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without sacrificing attention to detail
• A mixture of high energy, flexibility and team orientation with a direct, honest, and respectful approach to problem-solving, and an ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a high-growth, start-up culture
• Outstanding executive communication (speaking and writing), interpersonal, and organizational skills
